The NWWPA Board of Directors brings expertise from industries and communities all over western Pennsylvania. They focus that collective knowledge to lead our organization and create stronger communities throughout our region.

  • Helen Bowers
    Helen Bowers

    Helen Bowers serves as a Community Homeownership Specialist for First National Bank (FNB) in Pennsylvania and Ohio. In this role, she has responsibility for promoting homeownership and community outreach, connecting individuals and groups with educational resources, products, and services that drive awareness of FNB’s affordable mortgage programs.

    Bowers joined First National Bank in 2019, with more than 20 years of experience in client relations. She has played a pivotal role in driving FNB’s Black Homeownership and Hispanic Home Buyer Forums during her tenure with the Company.

    Bowers is a member of the Youngstown Warren and Pittsburgh Chapters of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers; an affiliate member of the Akron Cleveland Association of Realtors and Greater Erie Board of Realtors. She is also an active member of the University of Pittsburgh Alumni Association, African American Alumni Council; and holds multiple leadership positions with the Pittsburgh Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

  • Kolbe Cole
    Kolbe Cole

    Kolbe is a loving mother of two wonderful children and a leader in her community. She is a New Brighton native, residing in Beaver Falls, who has dedicated much of her life in service to others, especially youth in her community. Kolbe is an advocate for mental health awareness and character development with transitional-age youth.

    Kolbe Cole serves as the Director of Family Support and Homeownership for the Beaver Falls Community Development Corporation. A graduate of New Brighton Area High School, Colbe earned her Bachelor’s at Youngstown State University, where she studied Criminal Justice. She volunteers much of her time working with transitional-age youth to help them develop the necessary skills and mentality to tackle our ever-changing world and life.

  • Vilmarie Estrella-Lokay

    Vilmarie serves as the Chief Programs Officer at Casa San Jose.

  • Joe Malta
    Joe Malta

    Joe is the Branch Manager and Vice President of Farmers National Bank in Pittsburgh. He also serves as the Vice President of the BNI SSO chapter of Western Pennsylvania.
