Special Announcement:

A Message about Our Services in Light of Coronavirus (COVID-19) – UPDATED 03/31/20

NeighborWorks Western Pennsylvania cares about the health and safety of our customers, staff, and community partners. With Governor Wolf extending the stay-at-home order for Allegheny and many other counties in the Commonwealth, we will continue to provide homebuyer education and counseling services virtually until at least April 30, 2020. We are not receiving visitors to our office until further notice, but you can reach our employees, who are working remotely, by phone or email.

New customers who are not yet signed up for our services and would like to use eHome, our online homebuyer education course, can register at https://www.ehomeamerica.org/nwwpa. The self-paced class is accessible 24/7. Those who successfully finish the course and complete a counseling session (via phone or video call), earn a Homebuyer Education Certificate valid for one year. The certificate fulfills the education requirement of many homebuyer assistance programs. Please note: Anyone requiring a Homebuyer Education Certificate to access NeighborhoodLIFT or other down-payment assistance or mortgage products that require HUD-certified homebuyer education must complete that education prior to closing.

We are monitoring the news and government announcements closely and, if the situation changes, will post updates about our services to this website. Thank you for choosing NeighborWorks Western Pennsylvania as your partner on the journey to homeownership.
