Lindsay Powell

Passionate about social justice initiatives and addressing inequality, Lindsay is dedicated to advocacy and public service. Lindsay currently serves as Assistant Chief of Staff for Mayor William Peduto working on issues surrounding equity and inclusion. She received her Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Wheaton College in Massachusetts. She went on to work abroad as a Fulbright scholar and worked in local politics with the City Council of New York. Lindsay then completed her Master of Science in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University in 2017 and is a proud recipient of the CMU Otto A. Davis Award, given to students who exemplify the University’s commitment to social justice and racial equality. She has also been recognized as the Incline's "Who's Next in Politics" and Pittsburgh Magazine's "40 Under 40". Lindsay joined the NWWPA board in 2018 and is excited to help the organization to empower sustainable growth and inclusive revitalization in Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods.
