David is the Chief Operations Officer of the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP). He is responsible for operation of the Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Programs, as well as monitoring of privately managed mixed income properties and the Homeownership Program. In more than 20 years at HACP, he has worked in or led work in multiple areas including resident services, finance, grants and contracts, inter-governmental communications, and regulatory and legislative analysis. David has more than 25 years of experience in community organizing & development, strategic planning, human services, grant writing & management, and program planning and evaluation.
In his spare time, David is an Ultimate Frisbee aficionado, having helped form the Community for Pittsburgh Ultimate, and played in competitive and recreational Ultimate leagues until 2016. He lives with his wife Darla Cravotta in Pittsburgh’s east end.
