Anita joined NWWPA’s Board of Directors in 1988 and is the organization’s longest-serving board member. During her nearly 25-year career as Assistant Vice President and Community Reinvestment Act officer for Iron and Glass Bank—now First National Bank of Pennsylvania via a merger—Anita has seen first-hand the everyday troubles that were keeping people from becoming homeowners. She and other financial professionals created the “My Money, My Life” program, which was a financial literacy program for low- and moderate-income youth. Her responsibilities also include outreach to employees and neighborhood organizations, and encouraging volunteerism with organizations that assist low- and moderate-income residents. She has also been involved as her company's representative with non-profits that apply to the Federal Home Loan Bank system using the Affordable Housing Program, which includes homeless shelters and senior living facilities.
