Alex has been a member of the NeighborWorks Western Pennsylvania board since 2017. Prior to joining the board, he worked for NeighborWorks America as a Senior Data Analyst in Washington, DC. He is currently the Business Intelligence Manager at Carmeuse North America. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Policy Research and Analysis from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. Alex is on the Board of Trustees at Rodef Shalom Congregation, an Alumni Council Member at Shady Side Academy, and a Fellow at the Mattress Factory Museum.
In his free time, Alex volunteers with Children's Hospital, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Western Pennsylvania. Alex currently lives in Shadyside with his husband, Harris, and their cat, Brando.
